The Claim Business Intelligence & Analytics organization has an exciting opportunity for an Insurance Claims Analyst. The primary focus of this position will be to work on an Agile team supporting the onboarding of new customers to our Claim Third Party Administrator (TPA) area called Constitution State Services.

- Contract Duration: 6-months
- Worksite Location: Hartford, CT (hybrid work arrangement)
The Claim Business Intelligence & Analytics organization has an exciting opportunity for an Insurance Claims Analyst. The primary focus of this position will be to work on an Agile team supporting the onboarding of new customers to our Claim Third Party Administrator (TPA) area called Constitution State Services.
What you’ll do as the Insurance Claims Analyst:
- Collaborate with Data Engineering and Expiring TPA to secure an intercompany connection between our respective organizations and to ensure the data is copied over to our secure network drive
- Collaborate with the Development Team by providing them requirements so they can produce the Notice of Loss and Claim Notes data content in our format
- Collaborate with the Expiring TPA to understand financial considerations and with Claim Product so the financials can be mapped
- Assess the Claim files received from the Expiring TPA, review the data dictionaries, and assist with conversion of the content
- Assess the data quality of the Claim data received from Expiring TPA and if any anomalies exist, work with them to remedy
- Integrate the mapping from Claim Product and the Data Dictionaries from Expiring TPA to produce a Summary and Detail Financial feed for MongoDB, which will ultimately reside in Claim Platform
- Technical and analytical skills
- Ability to understand and articulate the business requirements and how information needs to be consumed, as well as perform the data analysis required to create the information and achieve the desired outcome
- Claim knowledge (multi-line preferred), robust Excel skills, and a familiarity with source-to-target mapping and BI Tools (e.g., MongoDb, Knime, Qlik, MicroStrategy, etc.).
