Senior Principal Reporting & Analytics Leader Job Description
The Reporting & Analytics Leader will collaborate with global data stewards to build and enhance a top-tier comprehensive reporting and analytics framework within the IT department. They will spearhead the development and implementation of roadmaps for SAP Hana Cloud Platform and Datasphere, Analytics, Reporting, and procedures aimed at enhancing the thoroughness, uniformity, and precision of data. They will supervise the day-to-day effectiveness of tools and procedures to uphold business user contentment, particularly concerning data precision, policies and procedures, communication, and change management. Additionally, they will offer strategic guidance and direction in establishing and overseeing an outstanding master data management function in alignment with the business strategy.

Senior Principal Reporting & Analytics Leader Job Description
The Reporting & Analytics Leader will collaborate with global data stewards to build and enhance a top-tier comprehensive reporting and analytics framework within the IT department. They will spearhead the development and implementation of roadmaps for SAP Hana Cloud Platform and Datasphere, Analytics, Reporting, and procedures aimed at enhancing the thoroughness, uniformity, and precision of data. They will supervise the day-to-day effectiveness of tools and procedures to uphold business user contentment, particularly concerning data precision, policies and procedures, communication, and change management. Additionally, they will offer strategic guidance and direction in establishing and overseeing an outstanding master data management function in alignment with the business strategy.
What you’ll do as the Senior Principal Reporting & Analytics Leader:
- Lead the design and implementation of reporting and analytics solutions using SAP Hana Cloud Platform and SAP Datasphere
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions
- Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for the evolution of reporting and analytics capabilities with business partners
- Provide thought leadership on best practices, emerging trends, and technologies in reporting and analytics
- Architect and optimize data models to ensure scalability, performance, and data integrity
- Configure and maintain SAP Datasphere using requirements and inputs from IT architects, key business analytic users, as well as IT analysts
- Support, assist, and train users on new modified system configurations highlighting the impact on business processes
- Maintain IT Business system integrity and application notes, system upgrades, changes, and user updates
What you’ll bring to the Senior Principal Reporting & Analytics Leader role:
- 10+ years of SAP experience
- 5+ years of working experience in large-scale Data and analytics organizations with experience providing SAP Analytics technologies with a focus on S/4 HANA Embedded Analytics, Hana Cloud Platform, and HANA XS applications
- Experience working with S/4 HANA CDS views/CDS Report/CDS APIs and FIORI
- Proven experience as a senior architect in reporting and analytics, preferably with expertise in SAP Hana Cloud Platform and SAP DataSphere
- Knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, and data visualization tools
- Strong understanding of business intelligence and analytics concepts
- Understanding of APIs, microservices, and how to design end-to-end solutions utilizing them
