Senior Program Manager- Affordability
Job Description
- Contract Duration: 6 Months
- Location: Hybrid, Minnetonka
What you will do as the Senior Program Manager:
- Partner with Product Management and business stakeholders to define and/or understand program scope, milestones, and business outcomes
- Develop a critical path, business milestones, and timeline in partnership with business representatives and Product Management to meet business outcomes
- Ensure coordination and synchronization of epic-related (program) activities across all entities such as business readiness, communications, process design, technology delivery, etc.
- Participate in Program Increment (PI) Planning, System Demo, and Solution Demo, as necessary to ensure alignment across multiple ARTs and business divisions
- Highlight and assist in resolving any gaps in alignment for deliverables
- Ensure appropriate expenditures are applied to the program and work with financial representatives and Portfolio Management to resolve issues
- Manage a portfolio of 7 projects tied to strategy around affordability
What you will bring to the Senior Program Manager role:
- Healthcare Experience, including knowledge of HIPAA transactions
- Knowledge of and ability to understand things like claims, members, prior authorizations etc.
- Affordability Strategy experience
- Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills with an ability to manage competing demands
- Proven ability to lead software development projects and ensure objectives, goals, and commitments are met
- Solid understanding of and demonstrated experience using Agile Project Management tools such as Apptio Target Process (ATP) Jira, Rally, VersionOne, or equivalent
- Solid understanding of and demonstrated experience using Microsoft Project, Visio, and all Office Tools
