- Worksite Location: Plymouth, MN
- Compensation: $90,000-$135,000 annually
What you’ll do as a Senior Software Engineer:
- Create deliverables and provides leadership in the design and construction of internal software applications, components, purchased applications and tools based on use cases, software technical designs and delivery of solutions based on technical and functional requirements and specifications
- Review, recommend, and ensure that the best available software engineering practices are followed by the software engineering discipline
- Provide input and recommendations for technical strategies
- Lead others in designing and implementing technology that this consistent with the Technology Architecture vision
- Utilize and apply industry tools and technology and understand how the implementation affects project goals
- Generate innovative approaches and solutions to complex problems
- Provide mentorship, technical advice, project leadership and training
- Evaluate current technology and recommend tools and software for implementation
What you’ll bring to the Senior Software Engineer role:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field OR associate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field with 7+ years of related experience
- 7+ years of experience of coding/software development
- Expert in at least one and experience with multiple of the following languages/technologies—C#, SQL, VB.Net, JavaScript, SOAP, REST, XML, JSON, 115, WCF, .NET in the development of solutions for the business
- Experience and working knowledge of security programming practices (OWASP)
- Experience with stored procedures (SQL), batch jobs and schedulers
- Experience and working knowledge of Azure DevOps, TFS
- Experience and working knowledge of relational databases, report development and analytics
- Experience using MS Windows client and server operating systems
- Proficiency with software applications used to gather and maintain requirements (MS Project, Word PowerPoint, Visio, Excel)
