The Solution Architect is responsible for governing the functional End-State solutions, roadmap, programs/projects, and day-to-day maintenance support of supply chain planning and manufacturing business processes. Solution Architect Job Description:
The Solution Architect is responsible for governing the functional End-State solutions, roadmap, programs/projects, and day-to-day maintenance support of supply chain planning and manufacturing business processes. You will define Program and Project plans necessary to reach Solution Portfolio Roadmap goals, including Process and Integration scope.
What you will do as a Solution Architect:
- Develop and maintain the Solution Portfolio Roadmap for supply chain planning and manufacturing suite of solutions, including cloud offerings
- Recommend new innovative solutions, enhance existing solutions, and decommission obsolete solutions
- Manage overall efficiency and global harmonization of the supply chain planning and manufacturing suite of solutions
- Facilitate governance for related master data, processes, and solution standards of the Solution Portfolio
- Support and/or drive dashboarding and visualization to enable analysis and action-oriented reporting
- Establish a collaborative relationship with SIOP and planning organization to deliver high-quality strategic solutions that enable enterprise process efficiency, visibility, insights, and structure
- Maintain relationships with global affiliates & BUs for systems that are global in scope
- Approve and prioritize Change Requests for business processes of the supply chain planning and manufacturing Solution Portfolio
- Serve as the last line of Maintenance support for complex Problems reported within the supply chain planning and manufacturing Solution Portfolio
- Identify resource and competence gaps and provide direction to the Maintenance organization for closing them
What you will bring to the role as a Solution Architect:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, or a similar discipline
- 5+ years of experience administering cloud-based applications supporting the forecast to schedule and plan manufacturing processes – S/4Hana and SAP IBP
- Experience working with IT service platforms
- Experience supporting technical integrations through platforms, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) is preferred
- Experience in a global, complex, multi-national manufacturing environment is preferred
- Willingness to travel
