This position operates within the Research and Development Packaging Engineering Group. This group is responsible for designing and evaluating packaging systems for industrial detergents and other cleaning applications. Specification Analysts must be proactive team members working with Packaging Engineers and product development to implement packaging solutions for various product categories.

- Contract Duration: 12-months
- Worksite Location: Hybrid from St. Paul, MN office
- Work Hours: 20 hours per week, flexible between 8am-4pm
This position operates within the Research and Development Packaging Engineering Group. This group is responsible for designing and evaluating packaging systems for industrial detergents and other cleaning applications. Specification Analysts must be proactive team members working with Packaging Engineers and product development to implement packaging solutions for various product categories.
What you’ll do as the Specification Analyst:
- Complete specification change requests meeting Service Level Agreements in support of internal and external customers
- Ensure regulated (i.e., EPA and/or DOT regulations, DDA regulations, etc.) component specification changes are compliant to packaging regulations
- Review specification change requests using technical information and professional judgement to make recommendations
- Provide technical and procedural information for new or modified specifications in collaboration with internal customers
- Provide Packaging Bill of Material details for New Product Introductions and approvals for changes to existing Bill of Materials
- High school degree or equivalent degree; Bachelor's degree in chemistry, engineering or related preferred
- 2+ years of experience in an analytical role
