Worksite Location: Fargo, ND
Compensation: $80,000-$90,000

What you’ll do as a Sr. Accountant:

Lead the accounting department with a specific focus on maintaining the strong financial health of the company
Provide financial information to management by researching, analyzing accounting data, and preparing reports
Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information
Document financial transactions by entering account information
Recommend financial actions by analyzing accounting data
Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents
Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures
Comply with all federal, state, and local financial legal requirements
Maintain financial security by following internal controls
Initiate and manage financial and accounting software used by the company
Bank deposit, bank, and credit card reconciliation
Investigate and apply for government grant programs

What you need to become a Sr. Accountant:

Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
2+ years of Controller experience
CPA licensure preferred but not required
Competency in accounting software and Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Effective oral and written communication skills, and excellent interpersonal skills
A high level of attention to detail and organizational skills
Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures
Ability to quickly adapt to change and work with diverse customers
