Sr. Insurance & Risk Management Analyst
Job Description
- Contract Length: 12-months
- Worksite Location: Remote; preferred within the Chicago, IL area if needed to attend client meetings in-person.
What you will do as the Senior Insurance and Risk Management Analyst:
- Actively participate in the development, evaluation and implementation of the company's global risk insurance programs which includes US and International programs.
- Facilitate day-to-day activities including internal information requests for policies, insurance certificates and/or auto ID cards, accounting/billing, coordination of claims and property loss control services.
- Work collaboratively with the brokers to support the collection of underwriting data and preparation of all necessary applications, submissions, proposals and presentations.
- Serve as single point of contact for facilities regarding insurance inquiries.
- Review contractual insurance provisions in coordination with our brokerage partner.
- Assist with Workers Compensation Monopolist State Filing.
- Work closely with brokerage and insurance partners to manage claims effectively and efficiently.
- Retrieve and analyze claims data and work with brokerage and insurance carrier partners to facilitate timely closure of claims.
- Performs risk analysis duties including compilations of underwriting information and coverage placement, loss forecasting and analysis.
- Conduct risk assessments to mitigate liability exposures and contractual risks.
What you will bring to the Senior Insurance and Risk Management Analyst role:
- Bachelor's Degree is required, preferably in Finance, Economics, or Risk Management
- CPCU / ARM designations are a plus, but not required.
- 5+ years of experience in with an insurance carrier or broker, corporate risk management.
- Ability to communicate across multiple functions of the organization.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and project management skills.
- Familiarity working with Risk Management Information Systems, implementation and data integrity, and use of system for data management and reporting.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment while also establishing work priorities and manage time effectively.
