Staff Accountant for a permanent position! Interested? Get more details below.

Worksite Location: Eagan, MN
Compensation: $55,000-$70,000 per year

What you’ll do as the Staff Accountant:

Perform general ledger accounting including journal entries, month-end close activities, account analysis and reconciliations
Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts. Research and resolve reconciling items for inventory and intercompany accounts
Provide accounting support for product, truck, and trailer sales departments
Review, post, and audit sales
Review and audit rental contracts, book rental sales, reconciliation of inventory and rental accounts
Prepare and distribute associated sales reporting
Manage and administer vendor rebate programs
Assist in the month, quarter, and year end close process
Assist with financial and vendor audits

What you’ll bring to the Staff Accountant role:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required (Finance, Economics or general Business majors will not be considered unfortunately)
0-2 years of Accounting experience.
Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
