Staff Accountant Job Summary
A Staff Accountant’s role is responsible for carrying out aspects of the daily accounting functions for the company. This will include AP processing, Credit Card functions, and general ledger functions. You will be tasked with carrying out financial activities and processes according to the standards of quality set.

Staff Accountant Job Summary
A Staff Accountant’s role is responsible for carrying out aspects of the daily accounting functions for the company. This will include AP processing, Credit Card functions, and general ledger functions. You will be tasked with carrying out financial activities and processes according to the standards of quality set.
What you will do as the Staff Accountant:
- Prepare weekly Accounts Payable review and process payments
- Generate checks timely for all payables
- Assist in month-end and general ledger reconciliations
- Assist with year-end schedules
- Credit card processing to include monthly receipt reconciliation
- Provide backup and support in other areas of the finance department
- Assist with internal and external audits
- Â
- Associate degree in finance or accounting (bachelor’s degree preferred)
- 2+ years of accounting experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and accounting software
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong professional communication skills in person, by phone, and email
- Ability to read and cross-reference a multitude of information
- Ability to speak the English Language competently
- Strong organization skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
