This role will maintain adequate accounting and control for various accounting reports and functions, such as preparing monthly financial statements, account reconciliations, accruals, journal entries, and adjustments. Staff Accountants will also need to exhibit a high degree of confidentiality and possess the ability to communicate with all levels within the organization. Staff Accountants assist with budgeting, forecasting, and analyzing financials monthly. It is their responsibility to report any variances to the budget. They also assist Accounting Managers with financial and tax audits, as well as various accounting projects.

- Worksite Location:Â On-site in Waite Park, MNÂ
- Work Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
- Annual Salary: $46,000-$55,000Â annually, based on skills and experience
This role will maintain adequate accounting and control for various accounting reports and functions, such as preparing monthly financial statements, account reconciliations, accruals, journal entries, and adjustments. Staff Accountants will also need to exhibit a high degree of confidentiality and possess the ability to communicate with all levels within the organization. Staff Accountants assist with budgeting, forecasting, and analyzing financials monthly. It is their responsibility to report any variances to the budget. They also assist Accounting Managers with financial and tax audits, as well as various accounting projects.
What a Staff Accountant will be responsible for:Â Â
- Adding, tracking, writing off, and/or budgeting depreciation and amortization
- Maintaining inventory, including recapping, analyzing variances, visiting locations, and auditing inventory
- Completing monthly reporting of cider tax and other state-required filings
- Managing items, including setup, maintenance, and freight cost analysis
- Auditing and budgeting, maintaining bookkeeping and fiscal records
- Preparing, examining, and analyzing accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards
- Analyzing business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice
- Associate’s  degree or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 2 years of experience in Accounting and/or related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Experience using accounting software programs
- A valid Driver’s License and driving record that meets company standards
