- Worksite Location: Boise, ID
- $125-160k plus bonus
- Direct Hire

- Monitor competitor pricing for many SKUs on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
- Establish a system of documentation and reporting to capture P&L impact of pricing actions throughout the product life cycle
- Analyze historical data, cost information and competitive pricing data to develop equitable and profitable selling prices for our products
- Work with external vendors and internal stakeholders to provide profit and margin analysis at a SKU, client, and channel level
- Identify opportunities to optimize sales and profitability through pricing strategies
- Work closely with the Sales organization to understand competitive impact of pricing decisions
- Evaluate and approve promotions and sales events including assessment of their impact on margin
- Present ongoing pricing recommendation and results to Product, Finance and Sales leaders
- Drive change in company best methods and be a resource for strategic pricing enhancements
- Execute price changes in internal ERP systems
What you’ll bring to the Strategic Pricing Manager role:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or equivalent
- 5+ years of data-driven marketing or finance-related experience
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Knowledge of established accounting, purchasing, and manufacturing practices
- Advanced Excel, SQL and MS Access modeling skills and proficiency with PowerPoint including ability to manipulate large quantities of data
- Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to quickly evaluate incoming work and manage priorities in time critical situations
- Ability to extract meaning and suggest action items from data, not just report metrics
