Job Description
The Supplier Material Compliance Data Collection Specialist supports procurement-led supplier compliance activities by collecting, validating, and maintaining supplier material information. The role focuses on supplier outreach, data quality review, and system data readiness to support regulatory compliance, audit preparedness, and product lifecycle needs. Working closely with procurement and internal stakeholders, this individual ensures that supplier data is complete, accurate, and ready for use across internal systems.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct structured supplier outreach to request and obtain required material information.
  • Distribute supplier questionnaires and accompanying instructions.
  • Track supplier responses, due dates, and follow-up actions.
  • Review supplier submissions for completeness and accuracy.
  • Coordinate remediation of missing or incomplete information.
  • Prepare validated data for upload into internal systems.
  • Support periodic refresh of supplier data and ongoing audit readiness.
  • Develop and refine an improved process for collecting supplier data.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
  • Experience with supplier outreach or supplier data collection.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to documentation quality.
  • Ability to manage multiple suppliers and competing deadlines simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience supporting procurement, compliance, or regulatory data activities.
  • Familiarity with supplier data management or compliance systems.
  • Experience preparing and validating data for upload into internal systems.
  • Background working in a regulated industry (e.g., healthcare, medical devices, or manufacturing).
