The Supply Chain Analyst will work with suppliers and the global planning team to optimize the supply of critical raw material items. They will provide process support to division Sales and Operations Planning Processes. They will also analyze international supply plans, manage key process indices, provide data support to division planning teams, and manage reporting process for demand planning, order management, inventory management, and financial reporting.
What you’ll do as the Supply Chain Analyst:
- Create production and procurement schedules for area of responsibility
- Identify and leading cross functional projects across the business to effectively drive improvements in service, cost, and inventory
- Provide a high degree of planning analysis to support decision making
- Actively partner with plant/division business team to improve ERP Processes
- Publish and present service and inventory metrics and results
- Analyze capacity to determine equipment loading and resources
- Work closely with the business unit to understand customer requirements and forecasts
- Work closely with manufacturing to ensure alignment to business requirements by setting and maintaining target inventory levels and lead times
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
- Experience in Manufacturing, Planning, Supply Chain, Logistics, Customer Service, and/or SAP in a private, public, government or military environment
- 2+ years of experience in Supply Chain within a manufacturing plant preferred
- SAP experience and advanced Microsoft Suite skills preferred
