About the Role
Our client is a global, diversified manufacturing and technology organization with a strong presence across multiple international markets. They are seeking a Supply Chain Project Leader to drive large-scale, strategic supply chain and manufacturing transformation initiatives. This role partners closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to lead complex, end-to-end projects that shape the future of a global manufacturing network.
The ideal candidate brings a strong blend of strategic thinking, execution discipline, and change leadership in highly regulated, matrixed environments.
Job Description
As the Supply Chain Project Leader, you will lead complex, cross-functional manufacturing and supply chain transformation projects from initial scope through execution and closeout.
Responsibilities include:
- Serve as the project lead for strategic and complex manufacturing and supply chain transition initiatives with global, cross-functional teams
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, dependencies, resources, and milestones in partnership with senior leadership
- Own end-to-end project execution, including stage-gate preparation and decision-making support
- Ensure delivery of project outcomes while managing cost, schedule, quality, resource planning, and compliance with corporate policies and standards
- Maintain and actively manage RAID (Risks, Actions, Issues, Decisions) logs across all initiatives, proactively escalating critical risks as needed
- Act as the primary escalation point for functional and cross-functional project challenges
- Continuously improve project methodologies, standards, and tools; train and coach stakeholders on effective execution practices
- Provide structured support to leaders and teams through organizational and operational transitions, recognizing both business and change management impacts
- Manage project governance, reporting, and documentation to ensure transparency and accuracy
- Drive adherence to — and continuous improvement of — enterprise processes, systems, standards, and project management tools
Qualifications
Required
- Proven experience leading strategic, complex projects within large-scale manufacturing, supply chain, or corporate transformation environments
- Demonstrated ability to own outcomes with a strong delivery and execution mindset
- Ability to connect enterprise-level strategy with detailed execution planning, including dependencies and risk management
- Strong financial acumen with experience aligning operational execution to financial objectives and value realization
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence senior leaders and cross-functional teams
- Proven change management capabilities and experience leading teams through transformation in evolving environments
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or a related field
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, Power BI, and SAP
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or a related discipline
- Project management or continuous improvement certifications such as PMP, Lean Six Sigma (DMAIC Black Belt), or Agile/Scrum Master
- Experience working within global manufacturing networks or highly regulated industrial environments
