Anaplan Systems Financial Analyst
Job Description
- Worksite Location: fully remoteÂ
- Lead the implementation of Anaplan within the finance department, collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and configure Anaplan models to meet business needs
- Develop and maintain complex financial models within Anaplan to support budgeting, forecasting, scenario analysis, and other financial planning activities
- Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency through the use of Anaplan, leveraging automation and best practices to enhance accuracy and scalability
- Integrate data from various sources into Anaplan, ensuring data integrity and consistency while developing robust data models to support financial analysis and reporting requirements
- Provide training and support to finance users on Anaplan functionality, ensuring effective utilization of the platform and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement
- Perform thorough testing and validation of Anaplan models and functionalities to ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial data and outputs
- Collaborate closely with finance stakeholders, IT teams, and external consultants to align Anaplan implementation with business objectives, communicating progress, issues, and recommendations effectively
- Stay on top of industry trends, best practices, and new features within Anaplan, proactively identifying opportunities to enhance system capabilities and optimize financial processes
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in finance-related roles with a focus on financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, or similar functions
- Demonstrated proficiency in Anaplan implementation and administration, including model building, data integration, and user training
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to support decision-making
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and drive projects to successful completion
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and present complex information in a clear and concise manner
- Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy and quality in financial analysis and reporting
