- Contract Duration: 3-4 months
- Compensation: $65.00 per hour
- About the role: Travel Role - fairs across the United States (car/plane travel depending on location)
- Represent the company at open enrollment meetings and health and wellness fairs at client locations as assigned
- Educate current and potential insurance benefit participants about the value of the insurance benefit available to them through group presentations or in one-on-one meetings
- Engage current and potential insurance benefit participants in friendly dialogue about the features and details of their options and encourage them to learn more/enroll
- Handle difficult or sensitive questions with tact and diplomacy
- Provide current and potential insurance benefit participants with pre-approved benefits literature, forms, etc., and instructions on how to enroll
- Promptly follow up by email with designated company contacts on any questions that cannot be answered on-site
- Complete a Benefit Fair Summary after every fair documenting the event
- Background in employee benefits, finance/investments, or core and voluntary group insurance with a minimum of 3+ years’ experience explaining employee benefits to plan participants
- Maintain Life and Health insurance license in state of residence (If the resident license is not from AK, CA, FL, GA, ID, or TX, obtain a non-resident license for assignments in those states)Â
- Strong customer service and communication skills, including public speaking, interpersonal, and written communication
- Ability to pass a background check and sign a service agreement
- Successfully complete applicable training sessions and examinations
- Ability to travel by air or car, drive for long distances, stand for long periods of time, carry/lift boxes up to 40 pounds, and occasionally stoop and bend with or without reasonable accommodations
