Our firm is partnered with a U.S.-based discrete manufacturing organization to hire a Manufacturing Engineer to support production and process improvement initiatives. This is a general engineering role with flexibility across manufacturing industries. The team is seeking someone with hands-on manufacturing exposure and a strong mindset for process documentation, standardization, and continuous improvement.<br />

The Product Engineer will play a key role in advancing productivity and standardization through documentation, drafting automation, and engineering process improvements.

The Product Engineer â CI Focus is responsible for leading and executing multiple continuous improvement initiatives that enhance productivity, quality, and consistency across engineering documentation and drafting processes. This role works closely with engineering, manufacturing, sales, and external partners to ensure efficient, repeatable, and scalable design practices.<br>
<strong>Key Responsibilities Include:</strong>

&#9;<li>Own and optimize processes and tools related to part, assembly, and drawing creation, as well as engineering change management, driving targeted year-over-year productivity gains
&#9;<li>Enable efficient and repeatable creation of product design documentation for both customers and operations teams
&#9;<li>Develop &ldquo;mistake-proof&rdquo; drafting and documentation processes using knowledge-based engineering principles
&#9;<li>Consolidate and standardize designs to reduce variability
&#9;<li>Lead day-to-day optimization of engineering tools and toolchains, including: 
&#9;<ul>
&#9;&#9;<li>CAD and design automation tools
&#9;&#9;<li>Product data management systems
&#9;&#9;<li>Engineering change processes and cross-functional handoffs

&#9;<li>Manage improvement projects involving third-party vendors, ensuring projects stay on schedule, within scope, and on budget
