<strong>About the Role</strong><br>
We are seeking an experienced Part-Time Finance Accountant to support the financial operations of a well-established firm in the financial services industry. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of financial structures, advisor compensation models, and expense management. The position requires advanced proficiency in Excel and the ability to work independently while collaborating with leadership.

<strong>Job Description</strong><br>
As a Part-Time Finance Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing expense reporting, and supporting advisor compensation and LLC structures. Key responsibilities include:

<ul>
&#9;<li><strong>Accounting:</strong> Maintain general ledger entries, reconciliations, and journal postings; process accounts payable and receivable; manage invoicing and billing cycles; reconcile bank and investment accounts.
&#9;<li><strong>Financial Analysis:</strong> Conduct analysis to identify trends and improve operational efficiency.
&#9;<li><strong>Budgeting & Expense Oversight:</strong> Support budgeting processes, monitor actuals against forecasts, and track advisor-related expenses.
&#9;<li><strong>Advisor Compensation & LLC Structures:</strong> Assist in managing compensation models and distributions.
&#9;<li><strong>Tax Coordination & Compliance:</strong> Collaborate with external tax professionals for planning and preparation; maintain documentation for filings and ensure compliance with regulations.
&#9;<li><strong>Policy & Procedure Support:</strong> Help refine financial policies, implement internal controls, and contribute to process improvements.

<strong>Qualifications</strong><br>
<strong>Required</strong>

<ul>
&#9;<li>Associate or Bachelorâs degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
&#9;<li>Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in financial advisory or professional services.
&#9;<li>Advanced proficiency in Excel (including formulas, multi-sheet data integration) and QuickBooks.
&#9;<li>Strong understanding of advisor compensation models, LLC structures, and investment-related accounting.
&#9;<li>Ability to clearly present financial data to advisors and leadership.
&#9;<li>High ethical standards, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
</ul>
<strong>Preferred</strong>

<ul>
&#9;<li>CPA, CMA, or CFM certification.
&#9;<li>Experience developing and maintaining internal controls and financial documentation.
&#9;<li>Familiarity with financial reporting tools and hybrid work environments.
</ul>
